How many MIT units do I need to take to be considered full-time by the VA?

Undergraduate students enrolled in 36 units during the fall and spring terms are considered full-time by the VA. Graduate students enrolled in 21 units during the fall and spring terms are considered full-time by the VA. Both undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in 12 units over MIT’s Independent Activities Period (IAP) are considered full-time by the VA.
