MIT has many financial resources to make life more affordable and help students navigate financial ups and downs.

We urge you to check out the links below without worrying that your need is too small, or that the needs of others may be greater. As a student, they are all there for you to use when you need them.

S3 is committed to making sure all students can have a positive experience at MIT, and providing the support necessary to make that happen.

Their website includes information for students in urgent need of financial resources or food resources specifically.

Undergraduate Emergency Support Fund

S3  also has an emergency fund if you need help covering unforeseen, essential expenses such as winter clothing or an emergency trip home. To obtain access to the emergency fund, please complete the Emergency Support Fund Request Form.

ARM Coalition

Accessing Resources at MIT (ARM) Coalition

The ARM Coalition connects students struggling with financial issues to campus resources.

They cover everything from assistance with basic living expenses like food and clothing to helpful places to find affordable (or even free) textbooks and academic resources.
