Apply for aid: Aid deadlines and requirements

Application deadlines

When your financial aid application is due depends on whether you are a prospective student applying for Early or Regular Action, or are a continuing student.

  • Continuing students: The financial aid application deadline for the following academic year is April 15. You will receive your award in late May or early June.
  • Early Action applicants: The application deadline is November 30. Awards are released in mid-January.
  • Regular Action applicants: The application deadline is February 15. Awards are released in mid-March.

How to apply: Required documents

There are three documents that we use to determine your need-based aid:

  1. CSS Profile: All financial aid applicants must submit the CSS Profile
  2. Parental Tax Returns: All financial aid applicants must submit their parents’ tax returns. If you are a U.S. veteran, this is not required.01 If you are a veteran of the U.S. armed forces, you are considered an independent for the purposes of financial aid, and do not need to submit a parental tax return.
  3. FAFSA: All U.S. citizens and permanent residents must complete the FAFSA
