Please note:

I have a National Science Foundation fellowship and it doesn’t completely cover my tuition. What do I do?

If you are part of the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF GRFP), you may receive funding from the program for your graduate tuition. However, the fellowship funding does not fully cover tuition costs, therefore leaving you with an amount that you still need to pay toward your tuition.

Your department may cover the rest of the tuition costs with a partial Research Assistantship (RA), which can then be used to pay the rest of your tuition. To make things easier, we also have a payment plan and payroll deduction option that will automatically use your RA salary to pay back the tuition you owe.

This process, as well as how to sign up for the payment plan and payroll deduction, is outlined in further detail on our tuition shortfall page.
