Graduate international students are eligible for student loans from private sources. After you locate a private lender, please complete our Graduate Loan Application. Keep in mind that the total of all your funding including scholarships, fellowships, research assistantships, teaching assistantships, and student loans may not exceed the price of attending MIT. After you’re awarded financial aid, there are additional steps you must take before your aid is disbursed.
Recommended application deadlines:
- May 1 to receive an anticipated financial credit as of your summer bill
- June 1 to receive an anticipated financial aid credit as of your fall bill
- November 1 to receive an anticipated financial aid credit as of your spring bill
