After submitting the CSS Profile, you will need to submit your parents’ 2016 federal (not state) tax returns along with all schedules, statements and W2s to Institutional Documentation Service (IDOC) for processing. If your country does not have an annual income tax form, submit a letter from each parents' employer stating the 2016 salary earned in local currency along with a 2016 non-filer statement (available through IDOC). It can take up to two weeks for the documents to be received by MIT.
Provide all original documents and include a translation of all materials into English and report the amounts in your local currency. You may translate all documents on your own. You do not need a professional translator.
