When will the FAFSA be available for the 2024–2025 academic year?

The FAFSA is undergoing significant changes due to the FAFSA Simplification Act. The U.S. Department of Education plans to release the 2024–2025 FAFSA sometime in December. Once available, all domestic students—applicants and current students—should submit it as soon as possible. We will notify all applicants and current students once the FAFSA becomes available.
